The Glauert's seadragon or leafy sea dragon, Phycodurus eques, is a type of a sea fish in the family Syngnathidae, that includes pipe fish, sea dragons and seahorses. It is the only type in the group of the genus Phycodurus and It is found in Australia along the western coasts and southern. The name is derived from the appearance, with the long leaf-like to stick out from all over the body. These protrusions aren't used for propulsion. they serve only as camouflage. The leafy sea dragon move or push itself by means of a pectoral fin on the ridge of its neck and a dorsal fin on its back closer to the tail end. These small fins are almost in every way difficult and transparent to see as they undulate minutely to move an animal sedately through the water, completing the illusion of floating seaweed. Now it was called "leafies".
